The Bubbledogs Throwback 🍾

It's been two weeks since we bought back Bubbledogs in celebration of Kitchen Table and Bubbledogs' 10th anniversary. So, we've decided to share some of our favourite bottles that were opened and enjoyed during the evening's festivities.

LANCELOT ROYER, RESERVE RR

A showstopper from start to finish. A Blanc de Blanc with Chardonnay all from the slopes of the Grand Cru village of Cramant. Pure and clear with green apples and ginger. Michel adds 30% of reserve wines aged in old large barrels to add complexity.

JL VERGNON, MSNL

For those who like a good white Burgundy (which Sandia does), this is the Champagne for you. Beautiful golden green hues, like the first summer sunlight with aromas of lemon zest, yellow flowers and freshly baked pastry. This one is a true party pick!

MARIE COURTIN, RÉSONANCE

From a single parcel in Polisot, the Résonance is vivacious and racy in its acidity and effervescence and yet delicately balanced with peach, apricot and plum notes. Finishing with a soft earthy mushroom tone, it leaves the palate clean and wanting more - perfect for a pre-party drink!

MARGAINE, ‘LE DEMI-SEC’

This is one of the most beautiful expressions of a demi-sec Champagne. Margaine’s Demi-Sec is based on the same blend as his Brut but with dosage, in this case, of 33 g/l. This is rich and creamy, whilst still retaining fresh and flirty acidity to stop it from being overly cloying.
