The Domaine lies in the heart o the Montagne de Reims. Antoine is the grandson of Guy Bouvet who founded the Champagne house in 1970. Antoine was always curious in the winemaking, following his grandfather since he was a young child. Guy Bouvet gave Antoine the estate when he was 17. Antoine looks after the small 5 hectares of vines in which only 1 hectare is used for his own production whilst the rest is sold to Bollinger. Therefore very limited bottles are produced, on average 1000 bottles per cuvee. Antoine practices biodynamic methods, uses spontaneous fermentation and minimum intervention. Antoine’s love and admiration for his grandfather can be seen in the homage to him on his wine labels. These wines are a must try and a true young rising star of Champagne.
