Christophe Mignon
Christophe is known in his little village of Le-Mesnil-le-Huttier as the “Lunar Man” deservingly for his dedication to natural practices including bioydynamics, phytotherapy, homeopathy and geobiology. The moon is his guiding force for all action in the vineyard and cellar. His 6.3 hectares of vines were planted by his great-grandparents and are spread among thirty parcels between the villages of Le Breuil and Festigny in the Vallée de la Marne. 95% of his vineyards are planted with Pinot Meunier and the 5% is made up on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Mignon prefers his wines on the drier side and picking at optimum ripeness allows for little to no dosage. Additionally, very minimal amounts of sulfur are used.
