Benoit Dehu, Coteaux Champenois Rouge, ‘La Rue des Noyers’ 2019

A still red wine from Champagne made with 100% Pinot Meunier from single vineyard, ‘La Rue des Noyers’. Vinification is done in 100% oak, unfired, unfiltered and no sulphur added.  If the delicate ruby red colour with a touch of copper is not seductive enough, the nose and palate is array of red currents, blackberries, black cherries, pepper and liquorice. Finish is elegant and mouth-watering. Production is very limited.
