“La Rue des Noyers” is named after the walnut trees that used to line the tiny 1.7 hectares of biodynamically farmed Pinot Meunier in which a quarter is worked by a horse. The grapes are fermented in oak with native yeasts, aged under cork and bottled without dosage. The nose is filled with cherry blossoms and opulent red fruits. The palate is extremely expressive with ripe orchard fruits and blood orange peels. There’s a prominent earthiness and a salty minerality. Imagine summer picnics by the sea.
