JL Vergnon, MSNL, Extra Brut, 2013

The Chardonnay comes from two parcels in Le Mesnil sur Oger; 70% from the infamous Les Chetillon and 30% from Mussettes.  This is the first vintage of this cuvee and a great birth vintage for it too! Vinified and aged fully in stainless steel and aged minimum of years on the lees. Beautiful l golden green hues like the first summer sunlight with aromas of lemon zest, yellow flowers and freshly baked pastry. Palate is lean and striking with a long silky finish and a touch of moorish salinity at the end.
