This is the first vintage produced from this single plot that has belong to the Laval family for several generations. Old vines were planted back in 1947. The wine is fermented naturally in oak barrels and has at over 5 years of aging on the lees. This Blanc de Noirs is dark but vivid and bright with intense energy from the viticulture of the old vines. It is so expressive, lean and with so many layers like nothing I’ve ever tried before.
