Although in color it is quite a pale red, this is not a rosé. Rosê de Riceys is an appellation in the Aube. En Barmont is a lieu dit that is clayier and produces more Burgundian style Pinot Noir. Do not get misguided by the lightness of its colour. This still red has got the nose of crushed strawberries and rose petals . On the palate, light tannins with red fruits, foraged wild herbs, and great purity.
