Benoit Dehu

Benoit Dehu is the eight generation in his family estate. After a fruitful stint at Bollinger, he returned home with a vision of natural viticulture and a passion for Pinot Meunier, he singled out a 1.7 hectare plot named “La Rue des Noyers”. From this single parcel, his makes only single variety and single vintage Champagnes and also a white and red Coteaux Champenois also from Pinot Meunier, all to showcase the potential of this grape. His wines are fermented and aged in oak barrels with low to zero dosage creating wines that are intense but with electrifying energy and beautiful tension and minerality. His productions are usually only around 4,000 bottles a year.
